Fahimeh Ramezani is a researcher and university lecturer with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Germany. She specializes in theoretical computer science, AI and Data Analysis. Her work bridges rigorous theoretical research with practical applications in data analytics, algorithm design, and scalable systems.
Previously, Fahimeh was a Postdoctoral Researcher for over three years at the UNSW Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Her research focused on robotics, multi-agent systems, fairness in resource allocation, and AI-driven decision-making.
Fahimeh has taught computer science courses as a casual lecturer at Macquarie University and PIA Sydney, delivering subjects such as programming, algorithms, and cloud computing. She was Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Isfahan for more than three years, where she taught computer engineering courses and supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is passionate about teaching and has delivered a wide range of courses, including Programming with C++/Java, Algorithms and Data Structures, Theory of Computing, and Optimization.
She holds a postgraduate diploma in Applied Mathematics from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, awarded through a competitive UNESCO scholarship.
Fahimeh has published in leading venues such as AAMAS, ALGORITHMICA, and BIOINFORMATICS, and is passionate about using theoretical foundations to address complex, interdisciplinary challenges.
