Research Grant/Project Successes:
[1] ‘Oz-Energy-Analysis’ at Research Institute for Climate Change & Sustainability, University of Adelaide (2010-2011): Research project on the production, transmission, storage, and optimality of the renewable energy sources in Australia and analysed how their variability interacts with the national grid – how it can be managed, how much power they can produce and how much it would cost. We developed a website that transparently present data, assumptions, models, analysis, interpretation and engage with a wide range of contributors by using an Open Science model.
[2] MAGIC 2010 Project at Flinders University jointly sponsored by the Australian defence to develop next-generation fully autonomous ground vehicle systems that can be deployed electively in military operations and civilian emergency situations. We demonstrated the use of multi-vehicle robotic teams that can execute an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission in a dynamic urban environment. (2009-2010)
[3] Distance learning project jointly by Suffolk University, UK and BRAC University, Bangladesh in 2004-2006. We proposed the methodology, results and effectiveness in the development of Mobile telephone based (Short Message Service-based) distance learning. The project was about the application of information technology to education, was setup, delivered and evaluated using a real-life environment.
