Exciting Bachelor and Master courses in Information Technology. Prepare yourself for the real world of the information economy.
Innovative state of the art courses
We offer innovative state of the art courses which meet Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) requirements. Our application for membership with the Australian Computer Society (ACS) is forthcoming.
We offer an Information Technology Undergraduate Bachelor course at AQF Level 7 with two exit only nested courses at level 5; and a Postgraduate Master course at AQF Level 9 with two exit only nested courses at level 8.
Our campus study environment
Student resources include specialist IT computer labs, workshop areas, student breakout facilities, a digital library, learning resources, and academic and learning support.
Our learning environment has the following features:
- there is an Academic Advisor who can help you develop your academic skills and techniques over your stay with us
- if you are an International Student, you have the opportunity to practice your English in class to build your skills
- we follow your progress and work with you early on areas where we think you can improve
- we offer regular sessions where industry experts come in to share industry and career opportunities
- we give you the opportunity to work with industry relevant, specialist computer hardware and technologies.

Our courses
Our courses in IT at Sydney International School of Technology and Commerce have a real world focus with practical experience and team-based projects designed to prepare graduates for IT career opportunities.
We offer the following two award courses, each with two nested qualifications:
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
Choice of two Majors:
Business Information Systems BIT(BIS)
The major in Business Information Systems (BIS) provides depth in business intelligence, business process improvement and social media strategy.
The major in Digital Enterprise (DEN) provides depth in network administration, cloud infrastructure and virtual systems and services.
Master of Information Technology (MIT)
Choice of three specialisations:
- Digital Leadership MIT(DIL)
- Cyber Security Major MIT(CYC)
- Data Analytics MIT(DAA)
Two nested (exit only) courses:
Graduate Diploma in IT (GradDipIT)
AQF Level 8 • 8 Unit of Study • 80 credit points
Graduate Certificate in IT (GradCertIT)
AQF Level 8 • 4 Unit of Study • 40 credit points
